How did the reading of Threshold Concepts 1.1 and 1.2 go? Did you enjoy the reading, or find it confusing? Explain your thoughts on these two concepts and how they relate to our learning as writers. How do you plan on applying what you learned in 1.1 and 1.2 to your future writing in this class, and your other classes?

Discuss the reading and what you learned. If you have any questions, this is when you ask your peers. ALSO in your reading response I asked you to connect these two threshold concepts to another concept we have read and explain how they relate together. Share your answers with your group and choose one that will be your "group answer". Once your group is set, come up to the board and write a shortened version of your group's answer on the board.

Homework
Read Threshold Concept 2.4 and 2.5 in Naming What We Know and complete Reading Response Five. The writing prompts can be found below. This is a reflection, so it requires more that a simple listing of your thoughts. Complete your reflection in a word document, titled "NWWKReadingResponse5" in your OneDrive folder. (Due Monday)
Threshold Concept 2.4 discusses the idea of writing being multimodal. Define multimodal. What are some examples, that you can think of, of multimodal writing?
Threshold Concept 2.5 discusses writing as being performative. Expalin what the chapter discusses, in your own words, and provide an example of writing being performative. **DO NOT use examples that are in the text!**
How can our writings in this course, and your other course, apply to these two readings? Are our writings multimodal and performative? Explain your answer. If you think that there are certain writings that are not multimodal and/or performative, evaluate how they could be improved or changed to become multimodal and/or performative.
Complete your "Getting To Know You Project" week three mandatory blog post: "Why nursing?" (Due Monday)
Complete the Week Four Reflection. Answer the following question, save the document in your OneDrive folder, and title the document "WeekFourReflection" (Due Monday)
